The first Musical Evening was established by Neville Gartland in 1987. For many years, it was known as the ENO Night as all its performers were members of the English National Opera (ENO). Performers in recent years are all professional opera singers but no longer exclusively ENO.
The 33rd Musical Evening took place in 2019. With a pause during the Covid pandemic, we resumed with the 34th event in 2023.
Profits from the event go to the Maidenhead Circle President’s nominated charity for the year.
