Changing of the Guard at the AGM , as Eddie stepped down as President and Maidenhead Circle welcomed Jacek as its new President.
Looking back over his year as President , Eddie highlights included the Ladies Nights; the Musical & Opera evening where he had danced with Soprano singer, Ania Jeruc; the charitable support of Christmas presents for 79 local children and the Bursary Fund sponsorship for Stephanie and Cameron; victories against South Bucks at skittles and the recent Quiz victory; and the Provincial Schools Public competition held in Slough. he thanked those who had organised these events as well as all Council officers.
He had enjoyed the informal breakfast sessions at Bardo’s in
Maidenhead on the second Thursday of the month. He intended to keep that going – and would look to open this up to the whole parish .
